Air-to-air cinematography for the promotional film of the Diamond DA42-VI. The production included aerial footage captured from a second aircraft, complemented by ground-based scenes filmed at Kraków Airport.
The goal of this project was to create promotional footage for the Diamond DA42-VI on behalf of JB Aviation, the exclusive distributor of Diamond Aircraft in Poland.
The production was completed during a single shooting day and combined both ground-based cinematography at Kraków Airport and air-to-air footage captured from a second aircraft flying alongside the Diamond DA42-VI over the Slovak Tatra Mountains. zdjęcia air-to-air wykonywane z pokładu drugiego samolotu podczas lotu nad słowacką częścią Tatr.
One of the main challenges was filming from inside a Cessna (plane) while maintaining stable, cinematic shots in changing flight conditions. The production required close coordination between both pilots, the photographer, and the camera operator to achieve precise aircraft positioning and make the most of the available natural light.
The final deliverable is a promotional film showcasing the aircraft both in flight and on the ground, highlighting its design and performance in a real-world environment. Diamond DA42-VI zarówno w locie, jak i podczas operacji naziemnych.
